You’re a team player.

Welcome back. Are you ready for the next Yes Bank strategy? It’s ready for you.

This strategy has four steps. You’ve heard about all four steps. This is really old stuff. It’s been around for a lot more than a thousand years. It still works. It’s as good as  it was a thousand years ago.

Let’s talk this over. What do you think about using such old stuff? Is that okay with you? Maybe we can make a little deal.

Read this stuff and decide for yourself. If it’s too old, don’t use it. It’s up to you. You decide if you want to use it. I know you’ll make a good decision because you’re soooo smart.

You’re the Yes Bank boss and have a gigantic Yes Bank. How do you do it? You use your second Yes Bank Strategy. Let’s call it the “Team Player” strategy.

Did you know you’re on a team? Think about the people who live at your home. They are a team. Everyone is counting on you. You’re an important member of the home team.

You’re on a team at school. Everyone works together. You’re an important member of the school team.

Think about other teams you are on. Do you belong to a club or group? If so, you’re on that team. Do you have relatives who don’t live at your home? They are part of your family. You’re on the family team.

Being on the team is one of the important things you do. That’s why you need a “Team Player” strategy. Here’s how it works.

You’re helpful and cooperative. If someone asks you to help, you help. If someone asks you to cooperate, you cooperate. You also take care of your responsibilities. You do the things you’re supposed to do. You follow the rules, don’t do things you shouldn’t do, and do your best. You’re a team player.

Your team can depend on you. You do what you agree to do. If you say you’ll do it, you do it. You also do things on time. You’re ready when you’re supposed to be ready.

What do you think? Does the “Team Player” strategy sound like it’ll work for you? If so, here’s some more stuff you need to know.

     1. Be helpful and cooperative. Are being helpful and cooperative good ideas? Sure they are. You know that because you’re soooo smart.

You know this too. People like to say “Yes” to people who are helpful and cooperative. You get more “Yes” answers when you’re helpful and cooperative.

Here’s an interesting secret. It’s only for the Yes Bank boss.

Be helpful. It helps the Yes Bank grow.

Be cooperative. It helps the Yes Bank grow.

When you help people on your team, you make a deposit to the Yes Bank.

When you cooperate with people on your team, you make a deposit to the Yes Bank.

You don’t help and cooperate only when you want something. You help and cooperate every chance you get.

If someone needs a little help, you help. If someone wants a little cooperation, you cooperate. That’s the way you are. You’re a helpful and cooperative person.

You also know this. Being helpful and cooperative are totally terrific ways to make the Yes Bank grow. That’s why you’re the Yes Bank boss. That’s why the Yes Bank is gigantic.

     2. Take care of your responsibilities. You have a lot of responsibilities. You do your homework. You brush your teeth. You keep your stuff picked up and put away. You have jobs around your home. Your team is counting on you. What else goes on your list of responsibilities?

You tell the truth and don’t lie. You follow the rules. You tell people “No” if they try to get you to do stuff you shouldn’t do. You do your best. Your team is counting on you.

You want people to tell you “Yes.” They are more likely to tell you “Yes” if you take care of your responsibilities. People like to say “Yes” to people who take care of their responsibilities.

     3. Do what you agree to do. If you say you’ll do your homework, do it. Do it as well as you can. Do your best.

If you say you’ll take care of your stuff, do it. Do it as well as you can. Do you’re best.

If you say you’ll behave and follow the rules, do it. Do it as well as you can. Do your best.

If you say you’ll help someone, do it. Do it as well as you can. Do your best.

Here’s the spectacular news. You’re also someone people like to tell “Yes.” People want to say “Yes” to people who do what they say they will do. The Yes Bank is getting even more gigantic.

     4. Be on time. This step isn’t complicated but it’s important. It’s also necessary. It helps you have a gigantic Yes Bank.

Do you know some “be on time” stuff? Don’t be late. Be ready on time. Don’t make people wait. Do stuff when it’s supposed to be done. What’s some more “be on time” stuff?

Okay. I hear you? Is that you yawning? Have you heard this stuff before? Is this old stuff?

You do remember, don’t you? This stuff has been around for a lot more than a thousand years. It’s not new but it’s important.

If it’s okay with you, I’ll skip the part that says, “People like to say ‘Yes’ to people who are on time.” You already know how that works. You know it because you’re soooo smart.

That’s it. That’s the “Team Player” strategy. Here are the four steps.

     !    Be helpful and cooperative.

!    Take care of your responsibilities.

!    Do what you agree to do.

     !    Be on time.

You’re amazing. You got through that strategy really fast. You now have another Yes Bank strategy. You can use it to make deposits to the Yes Bank every chance you get. Your team is counting on you.

When you’re ready for the next chapter, turn the page and away we go.
